For five years, Kansas City native Morgan Jones has been behind the camera, jumping at any opportunity she can to photograph any human subject. When Jones decided she was ready to take on photography, it took several years before she saved up enough money for a camera — a Canon 70-D she still uses to this day. She also didn’t have the financial resources to take any photography courses during her years studying communications at University of Missouri-Kansas City, so she turned to YouTube. Still, she’s photographed many concerts, including shows by Machine Gun Kelly and Paramore. She’s toured with R&B duo VanJess. Now, she’s shifting gears and making a name for herself as an editorial photographer. Again, she is teaching herself the ropes of designing sets and working with studio lighting.
